Under 11A league season “finale” at our very own “Wembley”.

The U11a team played their final league match of the season against Warley Rangers which ended in an emphatic 8 – 3 home victory (match reports available on the results section).

On what was a glorious morning, starting a day full of celebrations including royal weddings and finals, it was befitting that the game was played on “FA Cup day” at our very own “Little Wembley” which was presented in as resplendent condition as its bigger brother.

We hope you enjoy the camera roll showing our group (including Ralph) in high spirits as the sun shone.

Well done to the lads and their coach, Mick, for a marvellous end to a fantastic season but thankfully the football doesn’t stop.

After a tough season of bad weather resulting in fixtures being cancelled or having to play on some awful pitches, home and away, conditions are now “perfect” for our free flowing style and we can look forward to more football with up and coming friendlies and some exciting tournaments for the boys.
