HTJFC continues to deliver the highest standard of football

Holmfirth Junior Football Club has been awarded the prestigious FA Charter Award after its annual “health check”. This is an annual Football Association check on the nation’s clubs, taking a look at procedures, facilities and coaches. It shows that the club is continuing to deliver the highest standard of football for all within the football community.

Club spokesman Richard Hazelden said: “Local sport is now in lockdown until further notice but we at the club are gearing up for a restart as soon as restrictions are lifted. Local football clubs are in limbo as Covid-19 has caused the season to finish prematurely with relegation, promotion and championship matters not being decided. Cup competitions were also unable to be completed.”
