Santa declares his allegiance to Holmfirth Town at Christmas Party
Santa made a big entrance to the Under 10s, 11s and 12s Christmas Party last week waving his Holmfirth Town Juniors football scarf and chanting “Holmfirth, Holmfirth”, much to the appreciation of all the boys and parents.
A great time was had by all with pizza, hotdogs and bacon butties in abundance and one or two drinks for the grown-ups. Hampers were raffled off along with a mini-iPad kindly donated by one of the parents. Some of the boys were even dancing and we have the evidence!
Santa handed out personalised water bottles to all the boys, which they will all be using at their next matches.
It was another fantastic night with a great community spirit, organised and supported by a wonderful group of volunteers and supporters.
